Empower Yourself: Mental Health First Aid Training Comes to WVU
West Virginia University students, faculty, and staff have an incredible opportunity to enhance their mental health support skills this March. WellWVU and the West Virginia Collegiate Initiative to Advance Healthy Campus Communities are offering a comprehensive Mental Health First Aid training that promises to equip participants with vital knowledge and strategies.
The virtual workshop, scheduled for March 7th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. via Zoom, will provide attendees with essential tools to recognize, understand, and respond to mental health challenges. This full-day training is designed to help community members become compassionate and effective first responders in mental health situations.
Whether you're a student, educator, or staff member, this training offers a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in supporting those struggling with mental health issues. Don't miss this valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a more supportive campus environment.
